We had this 2017 Skoda Superb visit one of our MotoFyx car repair workshop for an annual service along with a concern relating that of a strange metallic sound being observed from the front side of the car especially while driving across uneven road surfaces, further there was also a grinding noise which could be heard while steering the car the driving comfort of the car only deteriorating overtime and seeking a permanent fix to the above concerns, the car owner reached out to us for assistance. Upon a detailed inspection of the car by our expert technicians, the steering rack and pinion gear had developed heavy play creating a strange grinding noise being observed while steering. Further, the tie rod end and ball joint were in bad shape, requiring replacement. The front shock absorber mounting was deformed and had an elevation of nearly an inch from the car’s body.
