Philip R. Clarke – Built in 1952, at Lorain OH by American Ship Building Co., Hull 867 Keel laid Dec 18, 1950; launched Nov 26, 1951, she measures 647’ long by 70’ beam, Lengthened in 1974 at Superior WI by Fraser Shipyards Remeasured to 767’ long and has a cargo capacity of 25,300 tons, Converted to a self-unloader in 1982 at Superior WI by Fraser Shipyards. She is powered by her original General Electric steam turbine. Victory – Built in 1980 as an Articulated Tug by the McDermott Shipyard, Inc, Amelia, LA. She is 140’ in length, 43’1” in beam and displaces 194 tons. She is paired with the barge Maumee. In 2008, the vessel completed a conversion to a new articulated She has a combined overall length of 815’ 2” with a beam of 70’.
