She is powered by her original General Electric steam turbine. Victory – Built in 1980 as an Articulated Tug by the McDermott Shipyard, Inc, Amelia, LA. She is 140’ in length, 43’1” in beam and displaces 194 tons. She is paired with the barge Maumee. In 2008, the vessel completed a conversion to a new articulated She has a combined overall length of 815’ 2” with a beam of 70’. Maumee was originally built as a lake freighter in 1953 by Bethlehem-Sparrows Point Shipyard in Sparrows Point, Maryland and became a self-unloading vessel in 1982.self-unloading notched barge.
