After leaving Sapa Vista Hotel, the first destination on the list is to visit Fansipan Mountain and get up to the summit which is 3,143 meters which is the highest peak in Vietnam located in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Since it was a beautiful Sunday morning, the crowd was massive and it took me close to 4hours to reach the summit of Fansipan and another hour plus to head back down with lesser crowd. The journey starts at Hoang Lien Station where I took the Muong Hoa Mountain Train ride over the gorgeous valley to reach Sun World Fansipan Legend Yard. From here, there's a breathtaking walk up to the Sun World Fansipan Legend cable car station. The Fansipan Legend cable car stretches across a remarkable 6,292.5 meters. This extraordinary length establishes it as the world's lengthiest non-stop cable car with a three-cable system. Do note that The Fansipan Legend cable car operating hours are daily from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM only. Upon reaching the summit, the views were nothing short of awe-inspiring and I am so so glad I took the effort to climb all the way up without the help of the funicular train.
