As of September 20, 2025, two significant new liveries have been debuted at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway this year, Caledonian Railway 419 repainted into crimson with a gold leaf lettering at a Bachmann model railway event LMS Lined Crimson The former Caledonian Railway 439 Class 0-4-4T No. 15189 was unveiled with a new LMS lined crimson livery in late summer 2025. SRPS volunteers and staff at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway spent the summer repainting the locomotive from its previous British Railways lined black paint scheme. Historic significance: This restoration returns the engine to a livery not seen on an ex-Caley 439 locomotive since the 1920s. Supporting our Railway Preservation Society, the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway, and all preservation railway organizations worldwide would be greatly appreciated.
