While we were running around and shooting footage of the 2021 Southwestern Rendezvous, we keep running into Mariners. We had so much footage of them and they have multiple crew participating, so we decide to make the recap video for their ship. The following video is of Ship 936 Mariners of Dana Point, California. This is their 2021 Southwestern Rendezvous Recap. The Southwestern Rendezvous brings together Sea Scouts from local, national, and international councils to encourage teamwork, communication, develop leadership skills and promote a spirit of fellowship and camaraderie. All events at Rendezvous are based on the qualifications for the Apprentice and Ordinary Sea Scout ranks, with the exception of T-2 First Aid (see event description). This is the 83rd annual Southwestern Rendezvous. The Sea Scout Fall Event Board and your hosts, Cabrillo Beach Youth Waterfront Sports Center, the Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI), and the Port of Los Angeles, welcome you aboard! This Sea Scout event has been made possible by hours of planning and the work of many interested people. Of course, this event would not be possible without the cooperation of your own counsel and the participation of your ship. With this in mind, we thank you for making this event a success. Competition events are open to all registered scouts 14 to 20 years old as of the first day of competition and who meet the requirements for Sea Scouting membership.
