Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it? A train video has pulled in after about a month-long lapse. Today, I happened upon a small train of tankers heading west on the WSOR's Prairie Sub, which runs along the old Milwaukee Road right-of-way out of Madison. The engine leading the way was WAMX SD40-2 4175 (Ex-WSOR 4006/6042, Exx-EMDX/ICG 6042, nee CRI&P 4792), which is a nice change from seeing WAMX 4170 back-to-back. And yes, as you can see from this video, it still sports its Nathan K5LA, which still sounds sharp for its age.
