Zora Neale Hurston was an American writer and anthropologist, who embedded herself in the unique African American culture of the deep South, beginning in the late 1920s. Zora would spend nearly two decades studying the #Vodou religion, first with the so-called two-headed doctors in New Orleans, and then Vodou priests in the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Haiti. Her years living within voodoo culture, resulted in many paranormal adventures, which she recorded in her books. This is #herstory.
