In “Cars 3: Driven to Win”, none of the Oil Rig tracks from “Cars 2: The Video Game” (Pipeline Sprint and Oil Rig Run) appear in the former game, while 5 tracks from other locations in the latter game (Runway Tour/Airport Runway Rally, Buckingham Sprint/London’s Buckingham Sprint, Casino Tour/Italy’s Grand Tour, Vista Run/Go Go Tokyo!, and Timberline Sprint/Radiator Springs Red Dirt Derby) are brought over into “Cars 3”. With the exception of Airport Runway Rally, the other 4 “Cars 2” tracks play high-pitched, sped-up versions of the original “Cars 2” music during the final lap. So I made this video to speculate what the last lap music in an Oil Rig track would sound like if it was ever in “Cars 3: Driven to Win”.
