The bridge is the first large-cantilever box-girder bridge in Wuhan and the second in the country, with a sense of speed and power. The bridge deck is grand and open, and the bottom of the bridge is shaped like a fine art piece. It has 25 bridge holes, each with a span of 43 meters, and 24 piers like large vases holding up the bridge deck. The bridge body is like a roc spreading its wings. The "bird body" is 10 meters wide, and the "two wings" (cantilevers) are each 10 meters wide. There are 500 concave and convex "bird's nests" between the "wings". The construction team carefully transformed the Shahu Bridge into a landscape bridge.
