STARCROSS and its FERRY to EXMOUTH | Devon | April 2024

Starcross is easily accessible by train from London and many other main line railways stations. From the railway station you can walk into the nice waterside village of Starcross, famed for Isambard Kingdom Brunel's Atmospheric Railway, enjoy some local food in one of the local pubs, like I did, or you can catch a ferry over to the lovely beach town of Exmouth which sits on the other side of the estuary. From Starcross there are also some lovely walks to to places like Dawlish Warren or Powderham Castle. In this video we will take a look around Starcross and learn a little bit about the Atmospheric Railway and then we will catch the ferry over to Exmouth and I will show you the boat and a few snippets from the short trip ( it takes about 15 minutes to cross). I did not mention fares in the video, because they will change and all the information can be found on the Starcross - Exmouth Ferry facebook page. This was filmed on a bit of a grey day at the beginning of the season in April, but just imagine how it will be with blue sky and sunshine! Please note that the Ferry is CASH only.
