Celestion Guitar Speakers Comparison/shootout: G12T-75 vs V30 vs G12H-30 Anniversary A comparison I made, using my own made 1x12 cabinet. I used a single SM57 microphone for this comparison. The Celestion G12T-75 has a warm and full tone but it can sound harsh when you mic it up too much to the center. The Celestion V30 sounds full and modern, very good for modern high gain tones. The Celestion G12H30 sounds a little less filled up but has a really nice sound for crunchy tones, I especially like the lead tone using this speaker. Amp used: EVH 5150 (III, 5153). I used the same settings on the amp for all three speakers. I also used the same mix and eq settings after recording to keep it fair. The guitar I used for tracking was my Bo-El MC-6. #thevon #celestion #speakers
