4/18-19/23 455amtrak & JRV encounter a Disneyland Railroad Doubleheader ft. DRR 4 & DRR 2 As part of a very nice photo opportunity set up at the Disneyland Railroad's New Orleans Square station for Disneyland's Throwback Nite event, it was decided to have Disneyland Railroad's E.P. Ripley 2, which recently got refurbished, be the main attraction of the display but it would need to get towed to allow guests to come alongside the engine. After pulling Holiday 5 train for the day, it was decided to use Disneyland Railroad's Ernest S. Marsh 4 to pull the Ripley 2 out to New Orleans Square forming a neat appearance of a locomotive doubleheader, the second known one to be recorded on the railroad outside the roundhouse lead. Presented from the perspectives of both Khris from 455amtrak & Jon from JonRailVideos, here we show the locomotives as they go through Main Street station, at and departing New Orleans Square station, Khris getting a peek in Critter Country/Rivers of America, and Jon getting a dark shot of the pair going over Thunder Trail trestle. We also present footage of the locomotives at the locations they were at during the event with steamed-up Ernest S. Marsh 4 parked at the water tower while offline E.P. Ripley 2 parked and set up for photo ops right by the gated entrance of the station. ...and yes, it should happen again tonight. Should arrive at NOS a bit before the event at 9 PM and depart shortly after the event at 1 AM for any going to the park for tonight's event or plan to stay for regular park closing.
