I ran more benchmark tests on the Lenovo Legion 5i than any other laptop ever on my channel. In this video, we are going to talk about the thermals, component usage, video-editing tests, design tests, noise, and more of the Lenovo Legion 5i. ►⏩►⏩ Check specs and pricing in the links below… 💻 Lenovo Legion 5i GTX 1660 Ti Version ( https://geni.us/Legion5i-10750H-16gb - Commission Earned ) 💻 Lenovo Legion 5i RTX2060 Version ( https://geni.us/Legion5i-RTX2060 - Commission Earned ) 💻 Lenovo Legion 5 Ryzen 7 4800H Version w/ GTX 1650 ( https://geni.us/Legion5-R74800H-16gb - Commission Earned ) ⚡ UPDATE!⚡ The screen on the unit I am reviewing is the 120Hz display with a color gamut range of 62% sRGB - 46% Adobe RGB - 46% DCI-P3. Please forgive me for the mistake as this has caused confusion for a lot of you watching the review. ⏱️ Timestamps ⏱️ Intro - 00:00 Lenovo Legion 5i Build Quality - 00:57 Lenovo Legion 5i Color Gamut Range - 02:41 Lenovo Legion 5i Keyboard and Trackpad - 03:36 Lenovo Legion 5i Ports - 05:07 Lenovo Legion 5i Battery Life - 05:27 Lenovo Legion 5i Specs - 05:55 Lenovo Legion 5i Geekbench Scores - 06:35 Lenovo Legion 5i Cinebench R20 - 06:45 Lenovo Legion 5i Photoshop Benchmarks - 07:06 Lenovo Legion 5i After Effects Benchmarks - 07:58 Lenovo Legion 5i Video Editing Benchmarks - 08:37 Lenovo Legion 5i Thermal Benchmarks - 10:24 Lenovo Legion 5i Noise Tests - 11:15 Lenovo Legion 5i Component Usage - 11:56 Final Thoughts - 12:49 As always I want to start with the build quality and usability of the Lenovo Legion 5i, but first I want to tease out that this laptop, with 8GB a RAM thoroughly surprised me with its abilities within the benchmarks. So hang on for just a few minutes and we will dive into all of the benchmark tests. The Legion 5i is an all-plastic build that provides a wood grain-like texture to the touch of the top cover. The design aesthetic is discrete compared to most gaming laptops which for creators I think this is a big bonus. I was really hopeful that this screen would redeem my hope for color-accurate screens on gaming laptops. Especially that this screen is only 60Hz they had plenty of opportunities to spend a little money to focus on color accuracy. Unfortunately, this screen only reaches a Color Gamut Range: 62% sRGB - 46% Adobe RGB - 46% DCI-P3. Note that these specs will be the same on the Ryzen model as well.
