Must try Taiwanese food in Hualien, Taiwan's hidden gem. Hualien is easily one of my favorite places to visit in Taiwan. It has a good mix of urban meets nature, there are mountains and beaches that easily accessible from Hualien. A few of the listed places may only have the traditional chinese menu, but don't let that deter you. Google translate will be your best friend.
