I used it today to clean my salt rock tank and i used the stainless scraper. The first thing I noticed is that the scraper actually extends the cleaning area where the pad won’t go. The scraper does a great job removing stubborn algae black dot algae which Pads have a hard time removing. I leave it in the tank full time as the salt water will not hurt it.
