#housedesign Casa Roble 3.6, designed by Pothe.arquitectura, is a 200-square-meter home located in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. The house blends traditional architectural elements with modern flexibility, centering around a patio that serves as both a social and recreational space. Despite the small lot size, the design features an innovative gate that allows the patio and garage to merge into a larger central space when needed. The home's exterior is simple, with white clay textures and a lattice gate that provides privacy while allowing natural light to fill the space. The first floor hosts the social areas, designed in an open-plan gallery with seamless indoor-outdoor interaction, while the second floor contains private areas, including three bedrooms with views of the patio. The use of traditional materials like clay, polished concrete, and pink quarry cobblestones ensures that the house ages gracefully, embodying the essence of Mexican architecture. Casa Roble 3.6 is a testament to how architecture can merge the past with the present, creating a flexible, beautiful space ready for modern living.
