Stellantis just announced that they will be revealing a new Hurricane 4 cylinder engine that makes significantly more power and torque than the previous Hurricane 4 Cylinder Turbo. The new engine will feature several race inspired featured to include more boost and dual injection. This will be one of the most powerful 4 cylinder engines on the market. They have committed to putting this into the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee; however, they also stated that it could be used in a wide variety of applications to include "compact".
