AstroAF - Full HEQ5 Pro Rowan Belt Mod and Hypertune

In this video: I do a full HEQ5 Pro Rowan Belt Mod and Hypertune. Since beginning to image with my Celestron EdgeHD 8 I have been assessing how the HEQ5 has been doing with the added weight. I noticed that there was some strange spikes occurring during guiding on the dec axis. Additionally, I had about a .4" increase in guiding deviation, presumably from the increased weight of the EdgeHD rig. I decided that my best bet for overall improvements in guiding, short of a different mount would be to Hypertune and Rowan Belt Mod the HEQ5 Pro. I go through step by step in this video of the entire disassembly, installation, re-assembly, and setup adjustments of the mount with the new Rowan Belt Mod kit, new high-precision bearings, and grease for a complete rebuild of the HEQ5 Pro Dec and RA axes. The final result feels amazing and I can't wait to get my rig set back up and see if I will realize any improvements!
