Please share with your friends. All good things come to an end! Anita has been away for a month! Our journey home stated in Stoke-on-Trent, at the railway station. We caught the Cross Country train that took us directly to Birmingham International at the airport. The train fare was 7.15 pound with our railcard. The ticket included assigned seats, but the train was full and felt cramped. Once we arrived at Birmingham International we followed the signs to the airport which led us to the maglev. The amazing piece of technology carried us to the departure area of the airport, where there were no queues, so it was straithough to security. Reports in the press, and even an email from Ryanair, suggested that the could be long delays, but there were none. We didn't have to remove anything from our bags, liquids, computers, cameras, all remained inside. My bag, of course, flagged up as I had a lot of electronics, but that was soon dealt with and we made our way to the departure lounge. Lunch was at Giraffe and we had a little time to relax in the departure lounge. When our gate came up we made our way there and the boarding process began. The plane was pretty full, but took off on time and landed a few minutes early. The arrival at Palma ran remarkably smoothly, with no waiting at passport control or the stamping of the passport, so we were soon out and making our way to the taxis. All in all, one of the smoothest journey home we have ever had. Thanks for watching.
