Railfanning Along the Reading Line! Feat. Hornshows, EMD, Foreign Power, and Much More!

--WATCH IN HD-- On a Sunny October Sunday in 2014, I headed out along Norfolk Southern's Reading Line, to do some railfanning with youtuber Grant Daubert. We started out at CP88 in Bethlehem, which is actually the NS Lehigh Line. Our first train was 294, with an EMD SD70ACE trailing. 294 had to drop off cars in River Yard, so he was under a restricted speed. Next up, was hot-shot intermodal 21M, with another ACE leading. Some nice color also showed up in the consist. The 3rd GE unit was really smoking it up!!! Now on the Reading Line at CP Burn, 211 heads west out of the Valley Hole with an Epic EMD trio! Also, the engineer gave us a nice hornshow. 4th train, 4th intermodal! Another intermodal, NS 20R, supporting a common Dash 9 duo, heads eastbound. The leader also had a burned out ditch-light! 38G, our first manifest, throttles up out of the yard with a former conrail Dash 8, and a Union Pacific SD70M! Out in Emmaus, the Allentown to Reading, and return, H68 sails east around the curve. Next up, 15T, has a YN3 CSX unit trailing! Some decent foreign power! At Harrison street, NS 20K features a NS SD60I 3rd of 3. NS 18N is right on 20K's tail with a "Gevo" duo. We catch him again back at CP Burn, going down the "Valley-Hole". At the Allentown Yard, we see 33K with some Epic Power! A NS EMD leader, a "Pumpkin" Gevo, and an Ex: BNSF SD60M, now leased to PRLX, "Triclops unit (3 Window Cab)!!! What a catch to end the day!
