Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Karnataka, India, known for its rich history, stunning temple ruins, and unique landscape filled with giant boulders. It was once the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire and a major center of trade, culture, and religion. Some of the most famous attractions in Hampi include: • Virupaksha Temple – One of the oldest functioning temples in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. • Hampi Bazaar – A historic market street near Virupaksha Temple. • Matanga Hill – Offers the best sunrise and sunset views in Hampi. The Badavilinga Temple in Hampi is famous for its massive Shivalinga, which stands about 3 meters (10 feet) tall. The linga is carved from a single black stone and is partially submerged in water, as the sanctum always has a thin layer of water due to an underground stream. The Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Hampi is one of the most striking monuments in the city. It houses a massive monolithic statue of Lord Narasimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, in a ferocious form. The Krishna Temple in Hampi is an important historical temple built during the Vijayanagara Empire by King Krishnadevaraya in 1513 AD. It was dedicated to Lord Krishna and originally housed an idol of Bala Krishna (infant Krishna), which is now preserved in the Chennai Museum. Auto contact Number : Mr. Ajjappa : 9481714358
