Outro - The Seed | Open | Blooms '25: Reflection | UCL Dance Society

Choreographed by Zoya Farzand This is the breaking point. Where the pleading turns to rage. Cries to ash. Now, we watch as they cling to their power, desperate, as if it will feed them when there is nothing left. The weight of everything taken from us can no longer be ignored. It presses down on those who remain, a reminder that we are the ones who bear it, who fight, who feel. We are the mirror they refuse to face. But when it all shatters, they will have no choice but to see what has taken root. The cultural meaning of the Palestinian keffiyeh has evolved over the years. It is now a symbol of resistance for the Palestinian people. We wear the keffiyeh today to honour those taken from us and those who continue to live through the occupation. We carry their stories forward, and remind ourselves that we are the roots of a movement which hopes to uphold the essence of humanity.
