On 11 May 2016, PZ Cussons hosted a celebration of their Diamond Partnership with the Hallé at their Head Offices in Manchester. Individuals from the business community across the North West attended the event which featured performances from musicians from the Hallé Youth Orchestra and the Hallé Children’s Choir. As part of the celebrations, the Hallé announced the naming of the new facility at Hallé St Peter’s, which is due to open in Autumn 2018 and will provide additional rehearsal space and classrooms for the Hallé Ensembles and Education work. The new building will be called The Oglesby Centre following a generous gift from Michael Oglesby CBE and Jean Oglesby CBE towards the project. The Oglesby Charitable Trust have also pledged to match further gifts made towards The Oglesby Centre Capital Campaign. - The Hallé presents a season of Manchester concerts packed with stunning music, stellar artists, world premieres and exciting new collaborations, designed to surprise and delight. From September 2023 to June 2024, alongside more traditional concerts, there will also be some new initiatives including hour-long Rush Hour concerts, a series of unique collaborations and concerts for all the family.
