On August 11, 2023, Argonne National Laboratory hosted Argonne at Work: Techno-Economic Modeling & Environmental Justice, a webinar that showcased lab resources to enable innovation through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Techno-economic analysis will be key to the deployment of energy storage projects funded by the BIL, which invests more than $7 billion in the supply chain for batteries and aims to advance environmental justice. Analysis tools developed by Argonne help U.S. battery companies identify major cost drivers and define possible pathways to attain cost thresholds at which a new technology can become competitive. Argonne also performs analyses that support the environmental and energy justice priorities of federal agencies. 00:00 Welcome and overview: Lynn Trahey 11:53 Presentation: Kevin Knehr (BatPaC) 31:35 Presentation: Michael Wang (GREET) 48:25 Presentation: Qiang Dai (EverBatt) 1:05:45 Presentation: Joann Zhou (Environmental and Energy Justice) 1:24:08 Closing remarks: Lynn Trahey Webinar slides are available to view or download: https://anl.box.com/s/nyc01vxdjdxhpog...
