Nando’s Partners with Aldingbourne Trust’s WorkAid

Before opening its doors in Bognor Regis, Nando’s invited Aldingbourne Trust for a special pre-launch meal, giving their new team a chance to practice in a real service environment. This event marked the beginning of an exciting partnership with WorkAid, Aldingbourne Trust’s employment support service that helps adults with learning disabilities and autism find meaningful work. On that day, we heard from Dan Massey, Manager at Nando’s Bognor Regis, and the WorkAid team as they talked about how this partnership came about. From front-of-house to the kitchen, the new team got hands-on experience, and we enjoyed some wonderful food! Since then, our partnership has grown, with 14 individuals securing jobs across five of Nando’s locations in Sussex. This is what inclusive employment looks like.
