NEW PIPE ORGAN!- First Lutheran Church, Fargo North Dakota- Austin Organ

This beautiful new III/69 Austin Pipe Organ will be dedicated later this year. It incorporates pipework from three previous instruments (Votteler 1924, Austin 1967 opus 2466, Austin 1992 opus 2466B) Pipework has been added to the instrument, but the overall specification remains similar to the 1992 spec. A beautiful three manual drawknob console has been added, with vintage Ivor- I mean “bone” manuals, along with a new relay system (Opus 2 System) as well as the remaining antiphonal console in the balcony. The finishing touches are being put on, but I wanted to give a general overview of some of the sounds of the instrument. Please forgive my sloppy playing, it’s just before Xmas Eve and I’m exhausted from practicing…. Also, there are some digital WALKER sound samples that play through speakers in the chamber (32’ Bourdon, 32’ Contra Bombarde Ect.) but you’d never know it.
