They say love is blind, but do opposites attract? Survey says ... not really. When it comes to love and relationships, you might believe opposites attract. The old saying has basically been accepted as a truism in some dating and relationship circles but a new study found that most couples are actually quite similar when it comes to finding the perfect partner or spouse. On this episode of #WakeUpCLT To Go we're taking a look at this study's findings and asking if you and your partner are very similar or couldn't be more different! Researchers at the University of Colorado-Boulder found that 80% of couples analyzed had more similarities when it came to hobbies and core values. An even crazier number: Only 36% of couples surveyed had opposing viewpoints when it came to religion, politics and education levels. But that doesn't mean you can't forge a strong bond and healthy relationship with someone that doesn't share your religious beliefs or political views.
