The stadium was used for football matches of FC Wageningen from 1978 until its bankruptcy in 1992. The stadium is located in the middle of the Wageningse Berg. Because it is a nature reserve, the stadium has never been demolished. The site is maintained by the municipality of Wageningen and volunteers.
