Marilyn Monroe was wearing a pink silk nightgown when she died on August 5, 1962. However, by the time the police arrived, the nightgown had vanished, and the assistant medical examiner who recorded it during the autopsy was forced to sign a confidentiality agreement that would last 60 years. Ambulance driver Walter Schaefer and his partner testified that they saw Marilyn in the pink nightgown at 3:50 a.m., but by the time Los Angeles Police Department Sergeant Jack Clemmons arrived 45 minutes later, Marilyn was naked, and the death scene appeared to have been staged. While the official report states that Marilyn was found naked, confidential testimony by assistant medical examiner Edmond Locard reveals that the nightgown was photographed in the morgue and that these photos were subsequently deleted from evidence files. 📚 Sources: Edmond Locard's confidential statement (released 2018), Walter Schaefer ambulance incident reports, LAPD Sergeant Jack Clemmons official reports, Dr. Thomas Noguchi autopsy dictations, Eunice Murray interviews (1962-2005), FBI declassified files on Monroe's death investigation #MarilynMonroe #MorgueFiles #UnsolvedMystery #HollywoodCoverUp #KennedyConspiracy #MarilynMonroeDeath #TrueCrime #DeathInvestigation #1962
