Scientific Glassblowing-Technique for Cold Fingers-ring seal.

I was at the American Scientific Glassblowing Society's Symposium in Corning NY last year and while doing some prep work for a seminar, one of the attendees noticed this technique and really liked it, so here it is. When a glassblower usually pulls down a piece of glass to finish a ring seal on a cold trap, they will attach a holder to it and pull it down using the tail stock. I just heat the extra glass away from the seal, grab it with tweezers and control the flame to keep the glass soft enough to pull down without it buckling. I am also really paying attention on how much I thicken it on the way down, consequently, all in one move. Hope you enjoy.
