Follow me on Twitter: https://x.com/sacramentolove_ He Scammed Kids on Xbox, Gets Banned. It’s a sweet justice seeing a scammer get banned. The ban is not fully justifiable but I’ll discuss that later. The scammer in question scammed 3 kids on Xbox because according to him they’re gullible and don’t know any better. But it doesn’t justify stealing money from them on Xbox. In this case, the scammer steals gift cards instead of using a payment app which was challenging for me since he couldn’t be reported for fraud. Gift cards are irreversible and untraceable, so it makes sense why the scammer chose to use them instead of leaving a fraudulent trail on a payment app. The scammer used the Xbox Looking for Groups to find his scam victims. He would make a public post, claiming to be selling a GTA V mod menu for the Xbox Series X. Charging people up to $35. The interested person would PAY the scammer by sending him a gift card code. Then they would allow the scammer to access their accounts for him to install the mod menu on their Xbox console or GTA. But instead of installing the mods, he would steal the person’s Xbox Account, steal their gift card, and block them should the victim reach out to him. No one really falls for a scam like this except for maybe a really young mind that wants to mod on next gen GTA V. Mods for these games don’t exist on next gen consoles. Which is why the scammer targeted kids instead of maturer players. After he scammed a player for $5, the player realized he’s a scammer and did not allow him access to his Xbox account. The scammer claimed he’s not a scammer and called his victim the N slur out of anger. The victim reported him, which resulted in the scammer getting temporarily banned. But this did not stop the scammer, as the scammer had a bad habit of using racial slurs which ultimately ended up catching up to him the player told me of the scammer which prompted me to open up the investigation, look at evidence, and confront the scammer. The scammer ended up changing his gamertag after initially exposing him. But some his friends saw the video and became former friends of his. One of his friends sent me an email, telling me the scammer was banned for a year. The scammer wasn’t banned for scamming. He was banned for saying the N word again. This time, it resulted in the 8th strike on Xbox. On Xbox, Xbox Enforcement uses the strike system for all players. After 8 or more strikes, the Xbox Account gets banned for a year. I talked with his former friends. They claimed he was embarrassed about getting caught, eventually got over it, and changed his gamer tag. The scammer did also threaten me with his guns and the fact that he can beat me up. But none of that changes the fact that he’s a filthy scammer and that’s all he’s ever gonna be. I personally feel he should’ve been Xbox console banned. His whole Xbox console should’ve been banned simply due to the fact that the scammer had a long history of scamming, admitted it, and even stole Xbox Accounts.
