→ Join me aboard Delta's newest addition to their fleet — the Airbus A330-900NEO — as we cross the country from Los Angeles to New York in Premium Select/Comfort Plus! This seat was a game-changer for this flight. I don't think I could have done it in regular economy. The best part of this seat was simply no one behind you — just a wall — so you can recline your seat as much as you want without disturbing the passenger behind you! Also, this seat made the ground maintenance delay much more bearable. The maintenance issue was a faulty computer, which, thankfully, was fixed rather timely and we were on our way. The downside to this delay would be the sun's position. Because we departed over an hour late, the sun was in a more westerly direction — and so was I facing. My camera overheated thrice during this flight, but it eventually worked out just fine. I got the sunset and that is what matters! Otherwise, I knew going into this flight that a great portion of it would be during complete darkness, as we landed in New York after midnight. But I didn't expect this much to be during nighttime hours. Oh well.
