SCT's 6PM9 8 Loco Monster on the Victorian Western SG Line 30/12/24

Video from a warm and windy trip out to Western Victoria to see a selection of SCT and Pacific National freight trains the main one to see was SCT's monster 8-unit lashup of SCT and RailFirst locos formed up as, CSR014, CF4430, CSR013, CF4429, CF4403, C502, C508 and C503. The 5th unit in consist being CF4403 which was dead attached on transfer to Goulburn NSW to be repaired due to it catching fire just west of Port Augusta on SCT's 5PM9 service. The 3 C Classes on as the last 3 units are the recent purchase by SSR from Railfirst Asset Management, which SCT had the duties of transferring them across the continent from Perth to Goulburn in NSW, where they will be officially handed over to SSR before being transferred to Cootamundra. The three C's where originally transferred individually across to Western Australia for hire to Watco with C502 and C503 going West with SCT and C508 going across with Pacific National. Trains in order are: 7922V- CSR007 and CSR011 6PM9- CSR014, CF4430, CSR013, CF4429, CF4403, C502, C508 and C503 6PM6- NR8, NR77 and NR36 Enjoy the video? Hit the like button and subscribe for more!
