Spring bird migration in Malta continues to provide a spectacle for those who spend time outdoors in nature during this beautiful time of year! In this video we've included some more footage of different bird species which can be seen in spring in the countryside and also at our nature reserves. It is incredible how many different bird species you can encounter during the season - all the footage included in this video edit was taken during the past month or so. Amongst the birds featured are Bee-eater, Little Ringed Plover, Ringed Plover, Black-winged Stilt, Golden Oriole, Wood Sandpiper and Common Sandpiper, Collared Dove, Moorhen, Greenshank, Whinchat, Barn Swallow, Sand Martin, Little Egret, Grey Heron and Night Heron, Blackcap, Temminck's Stint, Spotted Flycatcher, Avocet, and different gull species. We hope that this video edit encourages you to go out in nature to enjoy what the Maltese countryside has to offer during this most beautiful time of the year!
