I started this channel years ago as a way to help single women stop focusing on finding a man and become happy so that THE man would find them. Each time I got together with single friends we had the SAME conversation about being single. Women feel insecure because they didn't have a man, and the men feel frustrated that no good women ever say yes. My advice then and now was to stop looking for that person and focus on being the best YOU, the happiest YOU. You'll be having so much fun that "the one" will find you! At that time, I had no idea that just 6 months later my life would be completely flipped! I married a friend that I did not think of in that way until God flipped both of us to something more in an instant. Moved to the country and started trying to be a wife after 12 yrs being a single mom. Then the pandemic hit and me working in the largest research hospital in this part of the country meant that while everyone else was home making YouTube channels, I was working extremely long hours and very long commutes--almost 3 hrs a day. The pressure and the pace did not lighten up and finally, in October 2021 I turned in my notice. FlyLady had been a routine that I found when I got my first place on my own. However, I did it -ish. I worked 2-3 jobs and was solely focused on getting out of debt so the cleaning was hit or miss. I kept it clean but could not keep up the daily routines, at least that's what I thought. After remarrying, I HAD to find a way to keep things running. My pet peeve is a sink of dirty dishes and alone this was not a problem, but having 2 teens at home and a new hubby...let's just say the first thing I noticed after working 12 hrs and driving 3 was the smell when I walked in the door. GROSS! So, I pulled out the old FlyLady book and got busy. When I finally quit working, I was able to tackle the bigger projects but those routines were my saving grace when I was busy working. They still are! I've pivoted my entire YouTube channel to help other struggling Momma's to get their footing and make the changes needed to be happier in their homes. I am so far from perfect so I hope my story can encourage even the messiest of moms! I have zero experience in coaching, filming, editing, or blogging but somehow God called me to do all of these things. My hope and faith is in Him and His wisdom. I hope to get to know you guys on a real level. I am an only child and desire a great big community of friends to share our lives and grow together.
