CCM Super Tacks X Helmet Unboxing

I recently went to General Sports in Edina, MN and purchased a new CCM Spuer Tacks X helmet and a new visor. I came back to my training facility in Eagan and unboxed it. Here are my initial thoughts after seeing it and getting the visor put on. The "Nest Tech 3D Printed" padding is really unique and interesting. I have never seen anything like this, and was excited to wear it. The visor I purchased was the easiest I have ever put on a helmet, ever. The spacers come already attached so you don't have to figure out which side to put them on, and how. Simply remove the padded spacer and remove the screws in the helmet, attach the visor, and you're done. It was so simple! Both the helmet AND the visor came with their own protective fabric bag to protect them from scratches and misc. chips, which I am very happy about. As a pro, you always want your gear to look and perform at its best. Fortunately I had the opportunity to skate in Da Beauty League later that day, and try out the helmet real soon, on the ice, and with other professional players. After my first skate with the new helmet, I noticed that it definitely feels different than what I am used to. It is tighter on the sides, and I still had to use a towel to keep the sweat off my face. No helmet is going to be perfect at keeping the sweat contained, so I'm not shocked about this one. I will definitely be wearing this in the next 3 Ice games, more Da Beauty League games, and my inline skates! It's very expensive, and I can't wait to see how it goes.
