Fly-O-Plane POV - The Wind and Stone Venue and Fun Park - Quartz Mountain Fun Park

Mounted POV of the elusive Eyerly "Fly-O-Plane" at The Wind and Stone Venue and Fun Park (previously Quartz Mountain Fun Park) in Lone Wolf, OK You may have seen this ride called Test Flight in the Planet Coaster Vintage Pack. Well, that ride actually exists! Starting in the 1930s, the Eyerly Aircraft Company developed four thrill rides that would become a staple for the amusement park industry. Though their numbers have diminished, the Loop-O-Plane, Roll-O-Plane, and Rock-O-Plane can still be found at parks around the world. However, as of posting this video, there is only one known Eyerly Fly-O-Plane in operation. This ride is wild (apparently wild enough that I can't talk right most of the video); using rider-controlled wings, the rider can decide just how aggressive the ride can be. I'm a huge fan of Eyerly rides, and though modern versions of the Fly-O-Plane exist, it's hard to beat the simplistic design, minimal restraint, and plane-inspired seats of the original.
