Underground Telephone Exchange 'Guardian' Manchester(True Story)

In this video we explore the Guardian underground telephone exchange in Manchester. Built in the 1950's at the height of the cold war it housed telephone exchange equipment. Lets take a look at underground maps and plot the route of the tunnels. We take on some urban exploring as we go out on location and visit the various shafts on the perimeter of the city. We also explode some urban myths about the tunnels being a nuclear bunker for the rich and VIP's. All Footage shot by Martin except vintage nuclear shots.
