I recommend getting your head done by the machine shop as they have the tool to test and inspect.... much much better than just eyeballing it. they can also install a new valve seal, check for any damage on the valves, and they will even adjust the valve clearance for you. You can do it without sending it to a machine shop but Do it right once and be done with it. torque specification **Stock bolt Style 29-34 ft-lbs, then wait 15 minutes, and 43-47 ft-lbs. then run the engine for 25 minutes and turn each bolt another 25-30 degrees. **Torx bolts need to be tightened to 22 ft-lbs, turned 90 degrees (1/4 turn), and then an additional 90 degrees.
