Plus, we'll show you how to create five delicious fruit-flavored kombuchas using fresh pineapple purée, chopped mango, watermelon juice, nectarines, and tangerines. 📝 Recipe for 1 Gallon of Kombucha: Ingredients: 1 SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) 1 cup starter tea (kombucha from a previous batch) 1 gallon filtered water 1 cup granulated sugar 6 bags of black Large glass jar Breathable cloth & rubber band Instructions: 1. *Boil Water*: Bring about 1 quart of water to a boil. 2. *Brew Tea*: Add tea bags to the boiling water and let steep for 10-15 minutes. 3. *Add Sugar*: Remove tea bags and dissolve sugar in the hot tea. 4. *Cool Down*: Add the rest of the filtered water to cool down the mixture to room temperature. 5. *Combine*: Pour the sweetened tea into a large glass jar. Add the SCOBY and starter tea. 6. *Cover*: Secure a breathable cloth over the jar with a rubber band. 7. *Ferment*: Let it sit undisturbed at room temperature (68-85°F) for 7-10 days. ⏰ 2nd Fermentation: Flavors: 1. *Pineapple Purée Kombucha*: Add 1/4 cup fresh pineapple purée per bottle. 2. *Mango Kombucha*: Add 1/4 cup fresh chopped mango per bottle. 3. *Watermelon Kombucha*: Add 1/4 cup fresh watermelon juice per bottle. 4. *Nectarine & Tangerine Kombucha*: Add 1/8 cup fresh chopped nectarine and 1/8 cup fresh tangerine segments per bottle. 5. *Nectarine, Tangerine, & Mango Kombucha*: Add a mix of 1/8 cup each of fresh chopped nectarine, tangerine, and mango per bottle.
