It took Epstein 4 years to complete this project in which she was undergoing a residency in New Mexico. I stumbled upon the deck at McNally Jackson Bookstore in Brooklyn, NY. Hidden in the smallest corner titled 'Metaphysical.' There was less than 10 decks. This one stood out the most. But I didn't purchase it the first time. During my second visit to the store, I found myself gravitating towards that hidden gem on the second flood where you pass a plethora of books. Yes there it was waiting patiently for the next buyer to pick its from the overflowing bookshelf... Curated by 30 different artists with a touch of multimedia ranging from classic comic pages to photographs and paints. This deck has 79 cards includes the majors - representative of an artist - minors and court cards. Each suit unique from the classic Rider Waite-Smith but still embodying the mysteries.
