The day before my first chemo treatment I decided to shaved all my hair off and donate it rather than losing it on my pillow. I placed great value in gorgeous, natural red hair, so this act of shaving my head held a lot of power and sorrow at the same time. I was able to defiantly make a choice about how I wanted to lose my hair, take back control, not be a VICTIM.
