Five steps to help relieve or minimize worry. 1. Take a quick walk to expel some of the nervous energy. 2. Take a cold shower. 3. Do a face mask or other pampering activity. 4. Scream into a pillow. 5. Write everything you are feeling on a piece of paper, crumple it up, and throw it away or burn it. My de-stressor activities 1. Cleaning 2. taking dogs on off-grid walkies. 3. gardening 4. listening to music 5. window shopping online Explore the Pros and Cons: This activity I chose to skip. Unplug: Social media has fed on our most profound addiction to the need for attention and to be entertained by flipping through these apps that have made millions of dollars off of your content. Doesn't sound like it sounds. So unplug instead of being afraid of missing out. Get out there and live it up! Discover Your Purpose: My purpose in life is a big reason for buying this book. I always have thought my purpose was to help heal others like me and always to please others to my peril; at times, I would like to learn how to put myself first and change how I feel about myself. Things that make me feel accomplished: Things that make me feel accomplished are that the end of my home is clean and comfortable. Hubby is fed, happy, and in bed early for work at the end of the day. To have the energy at the end of the day to journal and prepare for the next day. Things that make me happy: at the end of the day, the things that make me happy goofing around online and, watching videos for inspiration, learning more about cannabis. Plus, reading, writing, and playing with the dogs. Brainstorming my purpose... Sit in a comfortable position in a quiet, safe space. Take deep breaths through your nose and out through your mouth. Exhale through your mouth while visualizing the idea of hope. And repeat steps 2 and 3 and feel your worry melt away. Relax with Guided Meditation 1:Breath in calm; exhale hope.
