This film is about an initiative called Out in the Field, which provides wellbeing retreats for NHS and social-care staff, and how nature connection practices can support our health and care system. The mental and physical benefits of being in natural landscapes, parks, gardens and under trees has now been recognised and is being integrated into health programmes around the world. Our belief is that when we give tools and practices for nature connection alongside increased access to nature to NHS and social-care staff it will enable and empower them to be the champions and ambassadors for nature in our communities. This film is a call out to land owning organisations - National Parks, National Landscapes and The National Trust, and leaders in the NHS to consider how to bring nature and health closer together. We welcome you to get in touch with us to discuss opportunities for collaboration. www.outinthefield.org hello@outinthefield.org Funding has been provided through the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme from Defra and the Kent Downs National Landscape Script and Voice over - Jessie Teggin @thequadrangle_kent www.thequadrangle.co www.outinthefield.org Creative Direction - Animation and Edit - Gabriel Bryant @gabezz @gabezz Pattern and Nature Film - Anna Murray - PATTERNITY @patternity4060 https://www.patternity.org @anna_spirals @patternity Music: Equinox - Composed by Bill Hawkes, Violin/Viola - Bill Hawkes, Bass guitar - Jonah Hawkes.
