Full Video Link    • محرم في طهران- دولت اباد سنة 1447 |Muharra...   The Event of Karbala: The event of Karbala is one of the most significant and impactful events in Islamic history, which took place on the day of Ashura, the 10th of Muharram in the year 61 AH (680 AD). On this day, Imam Hussein (AS), the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, along with 72 of his companions and family members, were martyred in an unequal battle against the army of Yazid ibn Muawiya in the land of Karbala. This event has become a symbol of resistance and sacrifice due to Imam Hussein’s (AS) stand against oppression and injustice. Commemoration of the Event of Karbala: Today, Shia Muslims around the world annually commemorate the month of Muharram, especially the day of Ashura, by holding mourning ceremonies and commemorations to honor the memory of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions. These ceremonies include speeches, The burning of the tents is one of the most painful scenes of Karbala, where the tents of Imam Hussein’s family were set on fire after his martyrdom. Women and children were left exposed amidst the flames and smoke, embodying the cruelty and tragedy. This scene is reenacted to awaken the conscience and preserve the memory of Karbala’s injustice.
