Digital organization is a pain in the ass, let’s just be real about it. As much as I love keeping things organized, and my Type-A Virgo ass LOVES it… it can be overwhelming to know exactly where to start! So let’s break it down into a few steps first: 1️⃣ Build a system today, use it tomorrow. I don’t need you to retroactively organize every single little thing. Set up the system and use it moving forward, it will be a LOT less overwhelming this way 2️⃣ Use the same structure across ALL your tools. Your brain will love the consistency of it all when you go hunting for the file that you need no matter the software 3️⃣ Name each main folder with a number structure, and don’t be afraid of using subfolders within each So now let’s get into my folder structure! You can mimic this, but don’t be afraid to customize it to your business: 📁 01. OPERATIONS - this is anything related to the admin side of my business 📁 02. BRAND ASSETS - anything I use to maintain my brand appearance on and offline 📁 03. CONTENT CREATION - this is my most used folder, since I create a LOT of content online 📁 04. PRODUCTS - assets for all the products I create 📁 05. SERVICES - assets for all the services I provide 📁 06. RESOURCES - these are assets that I have downloaded or purchased that help me run my business, or templates I use, or supplemental education 📁 07. ARCHIVE - I don’t like to “trash” things, instead I archive things I may want to access in the future, but don’t need access to on a day to day basis What part of this process do you find the most overwhelming?
