The Ultimate Boot CD contains many useful diagnostic programs, but you don't need a CD. Instead you can boot from a USB Flash memory drive. You will need RMPrepUSB from http://www.rmprepusb.com and any UBCD iso file. The USB drive just needs three files. For the menu.lst file, cut and paste in these 6 lines using Notepad: title UBCD 5 Beta rc2 find --set-root /ubcd50rc2.iso map /ubcd50rc2.iso (hd32) map --hook root (hd32) chainloader (hd32) MAKE SURE YOU SAVE IT AS menu.lst AND NOT menu.lst.txt !!!! In Notepad do NOT save it as a *.txt file!!! Full details at http://www.rmprepusb.com/tutorials/hbcd If your USB pen drive does not boot on your PC, untick the Boot as HDD (2PTNS) option in RMPrepUSB when you format the USB drive and try again. The release version UBCD 5.0 is now out! So you can use this version instead now or just add it to the USB pen.
