Those final 16 wins also mean that the Larry O’Brien trophy goes home with your team. The 2015-16 Warriors return with almost the exact squad that won it all, but the operative word is almost. The most notable ones missing are former All-Star David Lee, and assistant coach and offensive mastermind, Alvin Gentry. Not to mention an overhaul of their training and strength and conditioning staff. Yes, most of the band is back together, and yes, by virtue of being the reigning champs, they are the most dangerous team in the league, but last season could’ve been lightning in a bottle. I’ve talked extensively in the last Warriors ball movement video (link below) about how good they are and how impressive everything about their sharing the rock, and motion/triangle/inside ball screen brilliance is, so I’ll just say that this is a continuation. None of the clips from the last video were in this one, so these are basically the regular season leftovers, but throw in all their playoff magic, and I think that’s what makes this video more special: the fact that they were able to continue whipping the ball around even when teams could really key in on their game plan, and possessions became all the more important.
