This amazingly beautiful and scenic hike goes from Grütschalp cable car and rail station to Winteregg rail station. From Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, you can take a cable car about 2,250 feet up up to Grütschalp. At that cable car and narrow gauge rail station, many tourists catch the scenic train that goes all the way to Mürren. Alternatively, you can hike the trail in this video to the Winteregg station, which is half way to Mürren and about a 30-40 minute hike at a leisurely pace. At Winteregg, you can board the train and ride either back to Grütschalp or further on to Mürren. We did this hike in early June 2024, arriving at Grütschalp station around 6:40 in the morning
