Tour of Slovenia 2024: Ormož

Stage 1: Murska Sobota – Ormož 12 June 2024 The first stage of the 2024 Tour of Slovenia showcases the charm of the Pomurje region. It starts in Murska Sobota where the Expano pavilion serves as a gateway to north-eastern Slovenia. The region’s gems are the thermal spas Moravske Toplice and Radenci. The first one is known for its unique black thermal mineral water, and the latter for its soothing mineral water rich in CO2. The Vinarium Lookout Tower in Lendava offers spectacular views of four countries. The first stage also takes you past Ljutomer, known for its harness racing tradition, and the centre of Prlekija, across the picturesque vineyards on the Jeruzalem hills all the way to the finish line in Ormož. During the first stage, the cyclists will also cross into neighbouring countries Hungary and Croatia.
